Well im here its hot and sticky and im loving it! its a very expensive city (6 pound a pint kind of expensive) but its very clean and the people all seem really friendly. The hostel has been really good, we get toast and eggs inc for breakfast and although we r in a dorm of 10 beds its really quiet :) been sight seeing and walking around mostly, went across to sentosa island yesterday, its mainly a tourist trap built on an island but it was good to ride the cable cars and generally look around:) off to Palau ubin 2day, its a little island just off the north east coast which is still very traditional and set about 10-15 years ago. Mainlt bike riding and getting hot i expect!? we checked out this morning and are getting the night train up to kuala lumpur this evening :) not sure when ill b on line again (its free here) hope your all ok.
